The Lo-Down covers the Urban Memory Project

Check out the article “Urban Memory Project Teaches High Schoolers to Understand Changing Neighborhoods”  ( by Local Lower East Side news source The Lo-Down, who  interviewed UMP’s Rebecca Krucoff and Seward Park librarian, Sean Ferguson, about their current Urban Memory Project collaboration.  The article gives an overview of their work with the Lower Manhattan Arts Academy and details program highlights, as well as describes the historic LES film footage Ferguson will be presenting at the Urban Memory Project Spring Fundraiser on March 13, 2012.
