UMP partners with the Gowanus Canal Conservancy

UMP is working with the Gowanus Canal Conservancy to meet GCC’s vision of creating an “open, clean, and alive canal watershed.”  UMP science educator, Ann Fraioli, is working with GCC  to create professional development opportunities and a series of in-class and in-the-field science experiences for elementary and middle-school teachers and students in the Gowanus area.  The result will be increased opportunities for the community to engage with this incredible local resource and to help the GCC take stewardship of the Gowanus Canal Watershed.
